Adoptions

ADOPTION POLICY

ARO is not an animal shelter. ARO is a hospital and mobile clinic service for sick and suffering animals living in poverty stricken communities across Cape Town. ARO occasionally has animals up for adoption. Our potential adoptees are in foster care, in private homes, as we do not have boarding kennels or a cattery. Each animals is assessed and vetted before being placed up for adoption. Applicants are screened and home checks are done. This is standard across all reputable welfare organisations. An adoption fee is charged. Sterilisation and microchipping is mandatory. ARO is unable to assist with the rehoming of surrendered privately owned animals. Please refer your enquiry to Cape of Good Hope SPCA 021 700 4140 in Grassy Park.

Mila is a dalmation X of about 4 years of age. She is an extremely loving young lady. She loves to play ball and just wants  a human to love her. She gets on fine with cats, kids and other dogs but would like to be the boss. If you think you can offer a home please contact tamsyn@ripsold.co.za 0824117922

These 3 litte girl Calico kittens are also ready for new homes. They were surrendered at 6 weeks of age and are thriving in foster care. Happy, healthy and very active! Please contact tamsyn@ripsold 0824117922 should you wish to meet them.
